Tim Coughlin May 2008

NCAA Division III national champions

Tim Coghlin, head hockey coach at St. Norbert College, will be the special guest during the May “Conversations from St. Norbert College” television show, hosted by dean and academic vice president of the college Michael Marsden. They will discuss the team’s recent NCAA Division III national championship season.

Coghlin played hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point before being signed by the Vancouver Canucks and then playing for the Milwaukee Admirals in 1989. He later began coaching as an assistant at UW-Stevens Point and became St. Norbert College’s third head coach in May 1993. The 2007-08 season marked St. Norbert College’s first team national championship and Coghlin was rewarded with the distinction of the NCAA’s Hockey Coach of the Year award.
