September 2008 | Bishop Morneau on political responsibility

Bishop Robert Morneau, auxiliary bishop for the Diocese of Green Bay, will be the special guest during the September “Conversations from St. Norbert College” television show, hosted by dean and academic vice president of the college, Michael Marsden. The two men will discuss the newly released document “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship: A Call to Political Responsibility from the Catholic Bishops of the United States.”

Bishop Morneau is a teacher and author, as well as the pastor of Resurrection Parish in Allouez, Wis. He writes a regular column for Green Bay’s diocesan newspaper, “The Compass,” and has written books on spirituality, prayer and poetry. Bishop Morneau has been a member of St. Norbert College’s board of trustees since 1980.

“Conversations from St. Norbert College” is a weekly television show filmed, produced, edited and distributed at St. Norbert College. The program is hosted by Michael Marsden, dean and academic vice president of the college. For over five years, the show has examined important social, political and educational issues. Viewers from Wisconsin and Upper Michigan can tune in to discussions with leading experts from St. Norbert College and beyond. The purpose of the show is to educate the public and keep St. Norbert in the public eye.
