Post-graduate students to benefit from opportunity in special education
St. Norbert College and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh have reached an agreement on a new special education strand within the
Master of Science in Education (MSE) program offered in the St. Norbert education department.
These new classes will allow MSE students to simultaneously earn both their general master’s degree through St. Norbert College and a special education license through UW Oshkosh.
All of the courses in the MSE program will be offered at St. Norbert. Hybrid courses will take place live in St. Norbert classrooms or via the web by qualified special education professors from UW Oshkosh.
The program targets educators who already have a regular teaching license. It will provide MSE graduate students with the professional advantage of master’s level training plus certification in one of the most valued specialties in K-12 education today. The license will be multi-categorical for grades 1-8.
