ESPN’s Brandt kicks off CEO series
Packers fans may recognize Andrew Brandt, the first 2011-12 CEO Breakfast and Strategy series speaker, from his 1999-2008 term as vice president of the Green Bay Packers.
But his nine-year relationship with the Packers by no means encompasses his time with professional football. Brandt has been involved with the sport for more than 25 years, dividing his time between team management and player representation. Most recently, Brandt accepted a position as an ESPN business analyst in February 2011.
Brandt’s Oct. 17 talk, “The Business of Sports,” kicks off the college’s 15th annual CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series, an educational resource for area business professionals. All series presenters are outstanding business and community leaders who will share their unique strategies for meeting challenges facing American businesses today.
Upcoming speakers and topics include:
Nov. 29 Vicki Updike, president of Miles Kimball Company “Energize Your Culture to Drive Results”
Feb. 2 Kim Schaefer, CEO of Great Wolf Resorts Inc. “Thriving in a Difficult Consumer Buying Cycle”
Feb. 21 Mike Haddad, president and CEO of Schreiber Cheese “People Leadership”
The series’ presenting sponsor is WPS Health Insurance/Arise Health Plan, and the title sponsors are Grant Thornton, Insight Publications and Boldt.
The registration fee is $60 for an individual session or $450 for the entire series.
Information and registration are available online. You may also register by e-mail or phone at (920) 403-3166.
