The great thing about selecting your writer-in-residence for an exchange semester is that it’s easy for the rest of the world to follow right along.
St. Norbert College’s Laurie MacDiarmid and her 12-year old daughter co-blogged on their experiences at the University of the Philippines-Diliman this fall.
The two schools have a longstanding faculty exchange agreement and an exchange professor teaches two courses on the De Pere, Wis., campus each year – one on Philippine Culture and Society and one in his/her area of expertise.
