Marketing Services

We believe strongly in the mission of St. Norbert College and all that it has to offer students, the community and the world, and we want others to know about the value of the services our college provides. As part of the Marketing Steering Group on campus, members of the campus community with marketing dollars develop marketing plans for their respective campaigns and marketing efforts to share that information.

To ensure that all communications directed to our key audiences benefit from consistent design and message, St. Norbert College has established a policy for the development and preparation of campus publications (print and e-publications). This policy applies to all campus publications that are prepared for prospective students and their families, alumni, friends of the college and parents.

Services

Image and Identity Development
Provide marketing and communications consultation to help members of the Marketing Steering Group develop identities and messages for their products and services that are consistent with the overall image and identity of St. Norbert College and that meet the needs and expectations of their constituencies.

Strategic Marketing Consultation and Planning
Work with members of the marketing steering group to develop effective marketing plans, campaigns and tactics that are consistent with their identity and appropriate for their selected audiences.

Print Marketing Communications
Provide on-message writing and identity-directed design for print publications, including booklets, brochures, postcards, direct mailers, posters, invitations, flyers and specialty publications. Samples of print marketing projects are available in our online portfolio.

Web Site Design and Content Development
Responsible for the overall design of the college web site and maintenance of the web style guide. Provide content and design for the main home page, the Office of Communications web pages and the general institutional web pages. Also assist in review, organization, content consultation, redesign and construction of  "classic" web sites to conform to the college's content managed web site.

Direct Marketing E-communications
Coordinate and provide copywriting and design for broadcast e-mail and other e-marketing communications. Provide reports to campus clients to measure the effectiveness of their e-communications.

Graphic Identity Development and Guidelines
Maintain master files for the college identity marks, including the college logo, presidential seal and the Green Knight identity system. Provide the identity style guide and answer questions about use of identity marks, trademarks and changes or customizations. Fulfill identity graphic requests and provide assistance to vendors and other users of identity marks to ensure quality and consistency.

College Stationery System

Maintain the college's authorized and standardized stationery system, including letterhead, a variety of envelopes, and specialty products like memo pads and thank-you cards. Stationery orders are fulfilled twice each year to maintain cost efficiency.

College Business Cards System
Maintain the only authorized business card system for design and ordering. The minimum order quantity is 250. Orders are accepted at any time but are fulfilled only after at least four orders are ready to be printed.

Advertising and Media Purchasing
Coordinate segmentation and buying for print advertising and provide copywriting and design services to publication specifications. Also assist with broadcast media buying and message development.

Marketing Copywriting and Editing
Assist with writing bound for external audiences and editorial services for written material. Ensure that all marketing communications are accurate, credible, conform to St. Norbert College style and are free from error.

Photography Services
Provide photography services with in-house assistance when possible and arrange for professional photographers as needed.

Contractor Management
Provide direction, negotiation and management for creative agencies, freelance writers, editors, designers and photographers.
Advertising

How we advertise

The various groups on campus with advertising dollars incorporate advertising into their marketing plans, so most advertising for the year is pre-established. If you have an opportunity you’d like to let us know about, contact Mike Counter to share the details with him.

How you can advertise
If you have a product or service you’d like to let our students, faculty and staff know about, there are a couple of advertising opportunities for you.

WSNC radio broadcasts live from the Campus Center, WSNC is a student-run radio station accessible by the campus community and via live streaming on the web.
SNC Times newspaper is published six times per semester and distributed throughout the campus.
• Distribute notices to campus community – Our mail center can distribute your printed announcement to the campus community, or you can reproduce it in our copy center for distribution by our mail center.

The college reserves the right to deny distribution of any materials considered not to be in line with our mission.
