Oct. 27- 31 St. Norbert College geology professors Tim Flood, Nelson Ham, and Elizabeth Gordon, and alumnus and current University of Minnesota graduate student Dan Costello (07) will be presenting at the 119th annual Geological Society of America meeting at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, from Oct. 27 31. Approximately 6300 geoscientists are expected to attend the event. Flood, Ham and Gordon will present their findings on using geological field trips as a tool for recruiting non-geology-major students involved in introductory courses to enter the geology field.
