Dawn Rohm graduated from St. Norbert College in 1997 with a bachelor of science in mathematics and computer science. She worked as a senior UNIX systems administrator and consultant for 7 years before returning to St. Norbert in 2001.
Rohm maintains the Solaris and Linux systems for the computer science department and also teaches one or two courses each semester. She believes in a very hands-on and interactive approach to learning.
She is currently working on her doctorate in computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her research is in the area of computer networking, specifically focusing on 802.15.4 and Zigbee protocols. |
