St. Norbert College Leadership Series The Interaction Management courses in the current Leadership Series develop leaders who can:
• Effectively communicate and execute their organization's business strategies • Build a strong, committed workforce that is engaged and shows passion • Manage change successfully • Coach for success and help build their organization's growth through its people • Make the right decisions in a timely manner

Please note that the first course, Essentials of Leadership, is a prerequisite for all other courses.

Essentials of Leadership This course is a prerequisite to future courses Did you know that everyone has two kinds of needs during any interaction: personal and practical?
Improving your staff's interaction skills will improve the way your workforce thinks and acts. This course presents the basics on how to work well together, reduce wasted time, lessen conflict and influence interactions in a positive way.

Coaching for Success Leaders need to be coaches and models to help people gain confidence and experience in meeting challenges.
This course introduces skills for guiding individuals and teams toward achieving successful results. Leaders learn how to recognize and approach each coaching opportunity as a catalyst for success–providing the spark to prompt people toward successful results.

Coaching for Improvement Leaders must know how to help others close gaps in performance and alter work habits that have natural consequences for others and for the organization.
This course equips leaders to help people develop improvement plans, conduct effective improvement discussions and handle the challenges they may encounter in improvement discussions.

About the Presenter: Matthew Doyle
Matthew Doyle, R.D., C.D., is the Associate Director of Dining Services and Continuing Education Instructor at St. Norbert College with over fifteen years of leadership and staff development in a variety of industries.
A certified facilitator through Developmental Dimensions International (DDI), Mr. Doyle creates an engaging environment for class participants. Drawing from experience in sales, retail management, institutional food service and health care, Mr. Doyle has successfully helped numerous leaders to effectively communicate, enhance interpersonal relationships and drive performance. Mr. Doyle presents vital information to enhance any professional’s proficiency in many different areas: communication, interpersonal relationships, performance and commitment.
Matthew Doyle earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics in 1995 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration-Finance in 1988 from Minnesota State University. In 1996, he completed an AP4 Dietetic Internship at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and is a Registered Dietitian with the American Dietetic Association. |
