Committee of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittees

Grievance Procedure Subcommittee
The original Sexual Harassment Policy Review subcommittee completed their work of reviewing the prior sexual harassment policy of the college and draft and institute the current Gender Based Misconduct and Sexual Harassment Policy at St. Norbert College in summer of 2014. With the adoption of the new policy, the subcommittee is now working on drafting grievance procedures for faculty and staff in support of the Gender Based Misconduct and Sexual Harassment Policy. Thus the subcommittee was renamed as the Grievance Procedures Spring 2015 to more accurately reflect the current work of the subcommittee.

Bias Incident Response Group

The Bias Incident Response Group is called together on behalf of the Committee of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion to recommend a protocol for the reporting of a response to incidents of bias or incivility connected to culture, race, gender, orientation or ethnicity.

Women’s Subcommittee

The purpose of the Women's Subcommittee is to identify and support current and ongoing issues related to women at St. Norbert College.

Gender and Sexuality Subcommittee

The Gender and Sexuality Subcommittee identifies and supports current and ongoing issues related to LGBTQ, gender expression, gender identity and transgender issues. 

Strategic Planning and Advancing Diversity Subcommittee

The Strategic Planning and Advancing Diversity Subcommittee is to review, monitor and gather updates related to Priority #5 within the college‘s strategic plan. Priority #5 calls for us to foster civility, equity, diversity and inclusive excellence on the campus.

Race and Ethnicity Subcommittee

The Race and Ethnicity Subcommittee is to identify and support current and ongoing issues related to race and ethnicity at St. Norbert College.
