About Us

Delta Upsilon was the nation’s first non-secretive, non-hazing fraternity founded in 1834 at Williams College in Massachusetts. Delta Upsilon is an organization based on the principal of justice and strives to make every man who enters the brotherhood a better man.

Why do DU?

There are no secrets with Delta Upsilon. No secret rituals. No secret oaths. No hazing. We are proud of what DU stands for and proud to be the world's only international fraternity committed to sharing our ideals, symbols and rituals openly.

Delta Upsilon will never pressure you to do anything. Our non-secretive oath allows us to communicate all parts of our fraternity freely with anyone who would like to know more.

As an international organization, Delta Upsilon has many opportunities all around the country to help each and every one of its members grow as a brother and as a person.
