"When I first got to campus, I didn't have many friends other than my roommate. I had met a member of DU during freshman orientation, so I joined the interest group on Facebook. I had a phone call from him in 15 minutes asking me if he could buy me a soda at Phil's, where he told me what they were all about. What made me stick with DU is the emphasis on non-hazing and non-secrecy. They didn't need some bogus handshake or secret ritual to become closer as brothers, they honestly cared about each other. My brothers are the kind of friends you keep for a lifetime, not just until you graduate from college."
