Carry out joint research with a faculty member
Interested in a study on economic impact, private prisons or web programming? These are some of the topics of student-faculty research in recent years. Contact a member of the economics faculty. Some research even receives funding.

Participate in the Master of Science in Applied Economics partnership program
St. Norbert College and Marquette University have collaborated on a formal accelerated program designed to enable motivated students to obtain a Master of Science in Applied Economics (MSAE) degree in as little as one extra year, rather than the standard two years. >>MORE

Attend the Washington Semester program
Conducted by American University in the country's capital, the Washington Semester Program enables you to participate in seminars and internships in Economic Policy and International Business and Trade.

Spend a semester abroad
Although study abroad in not a requirement for either Economics or International Economic Studies, most students avail of the opportunity to go abroad.
