The 2009 Wisconsin State Human Relations Association Conference

The Wisconsin State Human Relations Association conference will hold its annual conference on November 19, 2009 at St. Norbert College in De Pere Wisconsin.  The theme for the conference is "Empowering Student Leaders: Embracing Diversity and Social Justice."

The Conference hopes to capture the energy, passion and leadership of high school and college students in the state by highlighting sessions on social activism.

Dr. Eddie Moore Jr., Director of Diversity at The Bush School in Seattle, WA and founder of the White Privilege Conference will be the 2009 keynote speaker.  His luncheon keynote will challenge conference attendees on their commitment to Diversity, Oppression, Privilege and Leadership as we travel through the 21st century.  

This one-day conference (9:30 - 4:30) is packed with challenging and interactive sessions as well as opportunities for attendees to tour the beautiful St. Norbert campus. We invite anyone interested in issues of social justice and equity to attend this year's Statewide Equity & Multicultural Conference.
