The education discipline has proposed the following minimum system requirements for your laptop:
- 2.13GHz processor
- 2GB Memory
- 160GB hard drive

These are the specifications of the MacBook model which sells for $949. This model or anything above will meet your needs while enrolled in the education program at St. Norbert.
Apple is currently offering a
back-to-school promotion, buy a new Mac, get a free iPod touch, after rebate. In addition, they also have a
free printer available after rebate. If you have questions on either of these promotions, please visit Apple's

The Education Discipline, along with St. Norbert Technology Support Services highly recommends the 3-year
AppleCare plan when you purchase a new laptop.
While all of the laptops have different specifications, the information on
Hardware Questions/Considerations provided by Technology Support Services or the
Frequently Asked Questions page may be helpful. The
Apple Education Store is set up with the educational discount pricing along with the information on the back-to-school promotions. Once you have been accepted to St. Norbert, you will be assigned a
Student ID that can be used to access the Education Store.
