Professional Profile
Michael Marsden, Professor of English, American studies, and media studies, has been at St. Norbert College since 2003. He has taught courses in American studies at St. Norbert College on popular entertainments and the automobile and American culture and has taught a wide variety of courses at other institutions in the areas of popular culture studies, including film and literature.
One of the founders of the Journal of Popular Film and Television, he continues to serve as the journal's co-editor. He has published widely in popular culture studies, with special emphases on film, western literature, regional culture and popular entertainments.
