Who Can Apply for Admission to the ESL program?
You can apply to the ESL program if you:
1. Are age 17 or older
2. Completed secondary school
3. Have money to pay your school fees.
How Do I Apply for Admission?
1. For admission to St. Norbert College, or conditional admission, complete the
St. Norbert College-ESL Application
For admission only to the ESL program, complete the simplified ESL application form:

2. Fax or mail the application and your bank statement to the ESL Director: (920) 403-4083. Or attach to an e-mail. Or, mail it to the address on the application. E-mail to: <ESL@snc.edu>
3. Send $50 application fee to the school. If you want to receive your I-20 and letter of admission by express mail, send an additional $50. Send the fees by bank check, Money Gram, Western Union, or send credit card information. For payment by Money Gram or Western Union list the "receiver" as Richard Porior in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
How Do I Get Immigration Form I-20 and a Visa?
After the school receives your application, bank statement, and fees, we will send you immigration form "I-20." Next, prepare for your visa interview at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Do the following:
1. Pay the U.S. government SEVIS fee.
PAY SEVIS FEE Print the SEVIS receipt.
2. Call or write to the
nearest U.S. embassy or consulate to get the visa application forms. Usually these are DS-156 and DS-157. These forms are also available on the embassy web sites.
3. Make an appointment for your visa interview at the
U.S. embassy or consulate. It may take several weeks to get an appointment.
4. Bring to your appointment these documents: your passport, 2 passport photos, completed forms DS-156 and DS-157, the school I-20, your SEVIS receipt, bank book, and bank statements, and any documents that show you have good reason to return home after you complete your studies.
5. At your interview you should be prepared explain why you will return home after you complete your education in the U.S. You should also be able to explain why you want to study at St. Norbert College.
6. Your application for a student visa will be approved or denied. If it is denied, ask for a letter explaining why you were denied. Make a new appointment and try again.
