What will it cost to study in the ESL program?
During the academic year
(September 2008 to May 2009) Each month of study will cost about $1,950. This price includes:
- ESL tuition: $950 each month.
- College dormitory: average cost is $460 each month*

College meal plan : $384 each month**
- Books: about $60 each month ($250 for one semester)
- Health insurance: about $65 each month
- Activity fee: $25 each month.
* School fees normally increase about 4% each year in September. Your dormitory cost may be more or less than $115 each week. Each dormitory has a slightly different price. ** College cafeteria is closed on most holidays and during vacation times.
During the summer of 2009
(June, July, August)
Each 4-week session is:
- ESL tuition: $1050
- College dormitory: $200 (double room)
- Meals and food service: $250 - $350
- Books: $50 - $100
- Health insurance: $65 each month
- Activity fee: $50
How can I pay the Application fee & Express Mail fee?
There are several ways to pay the application fee:
1. Fax us credit card information and permission to charge your credit card for $50 or $100.
2. Send a Bank Cheque payable to "St. Norbert College."
3. Send money by "MoneyGram" or "Western Union." Make it payable to "Richard Porior." Fax the MoneyGram or Western Union identification code number to (920) 403-4083. You must authorize release of the money to Mr. Porior at a MoneyGram or Western Union office in the area of Green Bay, Wisconsin (not Chicago!). Mr. Porior will pickup the money and put it into your account in the College Finance (business) Office. A receipt for the money will be put into your file in the ESL office.
How can my parents send money to pay my tuition & school fees?
We suggest your family "wire" money directly to your student account in the College business office. You will need your College ID number in order to complete the transaction. Ask us for your SNC ID number. Wire transfer information:

ESL Session dates in 2009:
- Spring 1: 8-week session January 19 to March 13, 2009
- Spring 2: 8-week session March 23 to May 15, 2009
- Summer 1: 4-week session May 26 to June 19, 2009
- Summer 2: 4-week session June 22 to July 17, 2009
- Summer 3: 4-week session July 20 to August 14, 2009
- Fall 1: 8-week session August 31 to October 23, 2009
- Fall 2: 8-week session October 26 to December 18, 2009
