English as a Second Language Fees and Session Dates
What will it cost to study in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program?
During the academic year
(September 2009 to May 2010) Each month of study will cost about $2,100. This price includes:
- ESL tuition: $990 each month.
- College dormitory: average cost is $485 each month*
- College meal plan: $400 each month**
- Books: about $60 each month ($250 for one semester)
- Health insurance: about $67 each month
- Activity fee: $25 each month
*School fees normally increase about 4% each year in September. Your dormitory cost may be more or less than $120 each week. Each dormitory has a slightly different price. ** College cafeteria is closed on most holidays and during vacation times.
During the summer of 2010
(June, July, August)
Each 4-week session costs:
- ESL tuition: $1100
- Estimated College dormitory: $390 ($13 per night)
- Estimated Meals and food service: $300 - $400
- Books: $50-100
- Estimated Health insurance: $68 each month
- Activity fee: $50
How can I pay the application fee and express mail fee?
There are several ways to pay the application fee:
1. Fax us credit card information and permission to charge your credit card for $50 or $100.
2. Send a Bank Cheque payable to "St. Norbert College."
3. Send money by "MoneyGram" or "Western Union." Make it payable to "Richard Porior." Fax the MoneyGram or Western Union identification code number to (920) 403-4083. You must authorize release of the money to Mr. Porior at a "MoneyGram" or "Western Union" office in the area of Green Bay, Wisconsin (NOT Chicago!). Mr. Porior will pick-up the money and put it into your account in the St. Norbert College Finance Department. A receipt for the money will be put into your file in the ESL office.
How can my parents send money to pay my tuition and school fees?
We suggest your family "wire" money directly to your student account in the St. Norbert College Finance Department. You will need your College ID number in order to complete the transaction. Ask us for your SNC ID number.

- 2010, Spring 2: 8-week session - March 22 to May 14
- 2010, Summer 1: 4-week session - May 24 to June 18
- 2010, Summer 2: 4-week session - June 21 to July 16
- 2010, Summer 3: 4-week session - July 19 to August 13
- 2010, Fall 1: 8-week session - August 30 to October 22
- 2010, Fall 2: 8-week session - October 25 to December 17
- 2011, Spring 1: 8-week session - January 17 to March 11
- 2011, Spring 2: 8-week session - March 21 to May 13
