In order to receive aid, a student must apply for admissions, be accepted to St. Norbert College, and file a FAFSA.
First things first—fill out a FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) provides information to the federal government that is used to determine your family’s expected contribution. It then gives St. Norbert College the data it needs to build a financial aid package that best fits your need.
Completing the FAFSA is easy. Simply go to
www.fafsa.gov and complete the application anytime after Jan. 1. The user-friendly application walks you through the process step-by-step and tells you just what information is needed. If you hit a roadblock, the St. Norbert College
financial aid staff is always available and happy to assist you.
File sooner rather than later
St. Norbert prefers that you submit the FAFSA by March 1. While you may apply at any time, be aware that some aid that has limited quantities may not be available after that time. St. Norbert begins releasing financial aid awards in March, so the earlier you file, the earlier you will receive your aid award. Remember to list St. Norbert as one of your schools of choice on the FAFSA. The school code for St. Norbert is 003892.
Remember, the FAFSA is a FREE application. Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify for need-based aid, we encourage you to apply.
