QUICK LINKS:

Traditional Students
Here's how to apply for admission to St. Norbert College:

  1. Request an application for admission by contacting the Office of Admission at 800-236-4878 or by completing the online application form.

  2. Fill out the application carefully and thoroughly, including your personal statement.

  3. Meet with your high school guidance counselor to review your application and request that your counselor complete Part II of the application form. Also ask your counselor to send us your official academic transcripts and standardized test scores. Although we don't require a letter of recommendation, we encourage you to ask your counselor to send us a letter of recommendation as well.

  4. Submit the completed application including your personal statement along with the $25 application fee ($10 if you're using the online application) to St. Norbert College. If you prefer, you may ask your counselor to send in the application and your check along with the transcripts, test scores and letter of recommendation.

We require standardized test scores unless they're waived by special request. Use the following codes when taking these tests:

    • American College Test — St. Norbert College code #4644
    • Scholastic Achievement Test — St. Norbert College code #1706

Although we don't require the written portion of the ACT/SAT tests, we do encourage you to take it.

If you submit more than one set of scores, we'll evaluate your application based on the best scores submitted. We accept scores reported on an official high school transcript, although we encourage you to have the testing agency send score reports directly.

Upon receiving a completed application, the Office of Admission will notify you of your status within two weeks.

Confirming Your Enrollment
If you choose to accept an offer of admission, you must submit a non-refundable $350 enrollment deposit by May 1 prior to the fall semester in which you plan to enroll. Of the deposit, we consider $250 to be a tuition and orientation fee and credit the funds to your account. We consider the remaining $100 to be a housing deposit and hold the funds until you complete your studies at St. Norbert.

We require one deposit of $250 from students who qualify for automatic exemption from the on-campus housing requirement and those who have petitioned for and received permission to live off-campus.

Students who receive offers of admission after May must submit a deposit within two weeks of admission notification. We require deposits before assigning housing or issuing permits to register.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Additional Programs for Success
St. Norbert College offers two special admission programs for applicants if your credentials indicate you may need support: the Academic Enhancement Program (AEP) and the Success Program.

  • AEP is a one-semester program designed to help you succeed at the college level by developing study, time management and note-taking skills.
  • The Success Program assists you in reaching your full academic potential by regularly monitoring academic performance, improving study skills and providing guidance necessary to complete college-level work.
