Students with Unique Situations

Home Schooled Students
St. Norbert College welcomes applications from home schooled students. We use the same criteria to evaluate home schooled applicants as we do for all others. At the same time, we also recognize that a home schooler's academic background is unique to each student. If you are a student who has been home schooled at any point during your high school years, the traditional application process should be followed. Additional supporting materials and an on-campus interview with a St. Norbert College Admission representative are encouraged.

Part-time Students
If you intend to enroll as a part-time student, you must still submit a complete application for admission and all relevant transcripts. Go to How Do I Apply? Traditional Students for details.

Readmitted Students
If circumstances caused you to leave St. Norbert College before completing your degree requirements and you'd like to return to school, we encourage you to reapply. Click here to download an application for readmission.

Non-Degree Seeking Students
Students who do not wish to pursue a degree but are seeking enrichment and skills in a specific course will be admitted on an individual basis.  Download the Non-Degree Student Course Registration Form and return the completed application to the Registrar's Office.  They, in turn, will register you for the class.  It is also beneficial to confirm the course availability and timeline with the Registrar's Office prior to applying.

Veterans
We strongly encourage applications from veterans and recognize that many veterans possess a high degree of maturity. Due to veteran training, the Office of the Registrar will grant college credit for service experience if the experience is gained in areas that correspond to what is taught at St. Norbert.

If you're a veteran and would like to enroll, you must submit a complete application for admission and all relevant transcripts. Go to How Do I Apply? Traditional Students for details.

AP/CLEP College Credit
St. Norbert College will grant credit to students who participate in the Advanced Placement Program of the College Entrance Examination Board when they've earned scores of three, four or five.

We'll also award credit to students who submit satisfactory scores on the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests. The College reserves the right to determine the acceptable score for credit on any CLEP examination and to determine those subject examinations which are appropriate to the St. Norbert College degree pattern.

If you wish to receive college credit through CLEP, you must sit for the examinations prior to or during your first semester at St. Norbert College.

You can obtain a complete statement of College policies on advanced placement and credit-by-examination through the Office of Admission or the Registrar.
