Admission requirements

How do I apply?
Students apply to both St. Norbert College and Bellin College of Nursing. Students are required to take all pre-entrance tests required by each college. Applicants should request that copies of their SAT or ACT results be sent to both institutions. To be accepted into this joint program, students must have a minimum of a 3.25 GPA and a 23 ACT.

Review our Steps to Acceptance checklist for additional information.

What are the costs for the program?
The annual tuition, room, board and fees are approximately $33,000. All students accepted into this program will receive a $5,000 annual nursing scholarship from St. Norbert College, making total costs closer to $28,000 before financial aid. Qualifying students will receive federal and state financial aid including grants and loans.

Due to the unique nature of this partnership between two institutions, students entering the nursing program are not eligible for other St. Norbert College scholarships. Students completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should request that results be sent to both institutions.

See our St. Norbert College / Belling College of Nursing Financial Information Fact Sheet for more information.

A degree of difference
Students will complete their studies earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bellin College of Nursing, and will be recognized as alumni of both Bellin College of Nursing and St. Norbert College.

Students who attend St. Norbert College and Bellin College of Nursing have plenty of reasons to be optimistic about their future. Of those seeking employment, 100 percent of Bellin graduates acquired positions in health care within four months of graduation. In fact, graduates are sought for critical care positions because of their strong clinical practice base.

More than 95% of St. Norbert graduates are employed or attending graduate school when first surveyed nine months after graduation. Graduates are also actively sought by employers for their problem-solving, leadership and effective communication skills. The liberal arts teach people how to look at different points of view and how to understand the dynamics of an organization—valuable qualities regardless of profession.

With a Bellin College of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, graduates have a world of opportunities before them. Past graduates have gone on to work in acute care settings, long-term care, public health offices, home care, occupational health care or administration, to name a few. Program alumni can be found practicing pediatrics, geriatrics, oncology, orthopedics, maternity and much more, from Green Bay to the Mayo Clinic and everywhere in between, and many go on to pursue their master's degree.

Where will I live?

Where will I live?

As members of a residential community, nursing students are required to live on the St. Norbert College campus.

While some exceptions may apply (including students who choose to live with their parents within a 50-mile radius of campus), an added benefit of the St. Norbert College and Bellin College of Nursing partnership is that the nursing cohorts have a traditional campus living experience.

St. Norbert College offers many housing options from halls to townhouses. Accepted students will receive a St. Norbert College housing application and are encouraged to make a housing deposit by April.
