The First Year Experience program kicks off the academic year with St. Norbert College's official Week of Welcome (WOW). All St. Norbert College new students are expected to go through the First Year Experience (FYE) program. Week of Welcome is designed to not only introduce you to FYE and your FYE mentors, but also to the social and co-curricular aspects of college life. WOW helps you settle into your new environment more comfortably.
On move-in day, every new student is assigned to an FYE group (there are approximately 18 students per group) which then meets with an upper class student mentor and one faculty or staff facilitator periodically in the first six weeks of school. All new students are expected to attend their FYE group meetings. It's the first month of college that will give you a strong foundation for the next four years.
