About geography at St. Norbert College
Geography affords a broad perspective for studying and interrelating human and natural phenomena – locally, regionally and at the global scale. It is an integrative discipline that brings together physical and human dimensions of our world in the study of peoples, places and environments. Geography’s hallmark is the analysis of spatial distributions and relationships to explain how and why peoples, cultures, economic and political activities, physical environments and natural resources vary from place to place. Geography’s spatial perspective complements both social and natural science methods, as well as aesthetic humanistic approaches. Geography provides an intellectual bridge between disciplines and a meaningful foundation for a liberal arts education.

Geography is an elective subject. No major program is offered.
