Fifth annual "Into the Streets" college community day of service
The St. Norbert College community will partake in a day of community service on Saturday, August 23 from 8:30 a.m-1:30 p.m. Once a service project for incoming freshmen, “Into the Streets” now welcomes alumni to join students and staff in service to the community. The opening ceremony will be held in front of Main Hall on the St. Norbert College campus. Following the rally, community service will take place in approximately 25 different locations with 300-350 students, faculty and staff participating. St. Norbert College again ranked as one of "The Best in the Midwest" by the Princeton Review
The “Princeton Review” magazine released its 2009 online profiles of the best colleges and universities in the nation recently and once again, the magazine reported that St. Norbert College is one of the best colleges and universities in the midwest receiving the “Best in the Midwest designation.” According to the “Princeton Review” the schools ranked were chosen by the magazine’s “own high opinion of them and the feedback they got from counselors, students, parents, and educators.” The magazine has also mandated that each ranking set must contain a wide variety of colleges, ranging... >>MORE

St. Norbert College offers language classes for children this fall
St. Norbert College will offer late-afternoon Spanish and French classes for first- through fifth-grade students beginning in September. The classes will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept. 15 through Dec. 1 on the St. Norbert College campus. Class levels available are Beginner’s Spanish, Intermediate Spanish, Beginner’s French and Intermediate French. St. Norbert College and Marquette University agree to joint five-year economic program starting this fall
The test drive is over and all cylinders are firing allowing St. Norbert College and Marquette University to make it official. The two schools have agreed to collaborate on a program that will allow motivated and capable students to complete a joint five-year course of study combining a bachelor’s degree in economics from St. Norbert College and a master’s of science in applied economics from Marquette University starting this fall. St. Norbert College Study Abroad first to meet national "Best Practice" standards
St. Norbert College is the only college or university in the United States to date to meet new national standards of “Best Practice” in study abroad developed by the Forum on Education. The Forum is a national organization of study abroad providers and users, with headquarters located at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.
