Marketing Services

Our marketing work is directed primarily toward external audiences including prospective students and their parents, alumni, donors and other friends of the college.

Brand Management
Act as stewards of the St. Norbert College brand, ensuring that all outreach from the college reflects brand guidelines contained in the St. Norbert College brand playbook. Maintain the communications toolkit, a library of photography and identity marks for use by campus partners. Answer questions about use of identity marks, trademarks and changes or customizations. Fulfill identity graphic requests and provide assistance to vendors and other users of identity marks to ensure quality and consistency.

Branding
Provide marketing and communications consultation to help campus partners develop identities and messages for their products and services that are consistent with the overall image and identity of St. Norbert College and that meet their goals and the needs and expectations of their audiences.

Strategic Marketing Consultation and Planning
Work with campus partners to develop effective engagement plans, campaigns and tactics that are consistent with the college brand and appropriate for their selected audiences.

Marketing Communications Development
Provide on-message writing and brand-aligned design for multichannel distribution ranging from print publications (booklets, brochures, postcards, direct mailers, posters, invitations, flyers and specialty publications) to digital billboard advertising. Ensure that all marketing communications are accurate, credible, conform to St. Norbert College style and are free from error.

Web and Digital Marketing
Maintain oversight of the college website and maintenance of the web style guide. Provide content and design for the main home page and other high-level pages bound toward external audiences. Employ SEO best practices to generate traffic to college web properties. Train distributed web content managers on maintaining lower-level pages bound primarily toward internal audiences. Also assist in review, organization, content consultation, redesign and construction of websites to conform to the college's content-managed website. Oversee SEM activities conducted on behalf of campus partners. Request web support.

Social Media Consultation, Implementation and Advertising
Manage institutional social media accounts including the St. Norbert College Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube sites. Provide consultation and implementation of other department and unit social media sites in accordance with the college’s social media policy. Direct all social media advertising for the college.

Marketing E-communications
Coordinate and provide copywriting and design for broadcast email and other e-marketing communications. Provide reports to campus partners to measure the effectiveness of their e-communications. Distribute the monthly events e-comm. Submit your event for inclusion in the monthly events e-comm

Video Production
Concept and produce videos to support the marketing objectives of campus partners and the college.

Photography
Coordinate all photography on behalf of the college. Manage pool of contract photographers to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned photo assets. Shoot faculty and staff headshots.

College Stationery System
Maintain the college’s authorized and standardized stationery system including letterhead and a variety of envelopes, which are ordered and printed through the Digital Print Center on campus.

College Business Cards System
Maintain the college’s business-card system. Business cards are ordered and printed through the Digital Print Center on campus.

Environmental Graphics
Design and install environmental graphics ranging from wayfinding signage to fine art recognizing donor contributions.

Internal Communications
Support the strategic internal and executive communications of the college. Oversee mySNC, the intranet for students, faculty and staff. Publish regular SNC News internal campus e-newsletter. Consult with campus partners on better ways to communicate internally.

Media Relations
Pitches St. Norbert College news and information to local, regional and national media outlets for potential coverage. Connects media seeking interviews with St. Norbert College community members. Coordinates subject-area experts for speaking engagements. Facilitates college spokesperson training. Provides crisis communications consultation and support.

Contractor Management
Provide direction, negotiation and management for creative agencies, freelance writers, editors, designers and photographers.
