Professional profile
I am a Counseling Psychologist experienced in working with traditional and non-traditional college students. Before coming to St. Norbert, I worked at my Alma Mater, Colorado State University, in both the University Counseling Center as a Pre-Doctoral Intern and at the Psychological Services Center where I was the Assistant Director. I’ve also worked at Front Range Community College, where I did personal counseling and learning disability screening. Most recently, I’ve worked as Assistant Director for Quality Improvement at a regional non-profit behavioral health organization.
While in graduate school, I taught undergraduate courses in Child Psychology, Freshman Psychology Seminar, and Movies and Mental Health, a class that examines how the media portrays mental health issues. I enjoy doing outreach and programming, as well as guest lecturing on a variety of topics. I am a member of the Brown County Coalition for Suicide Prevention and am actively engaged in suicide prevention efforts on campus.
In my clinical practice, I am interested in disordered eating, body image, grief and loss, relationships, women’s issues, mood disorders, and psychological testing.
