Welcome to Habitat for Humanity!
In 1998, SNC Habitat for Humanity became the 500th campus chapter to be inducted into the Habitat for Humanity International Campus Chapters and Youth Program. In celebration of this and the tenth year anniversary of the Campus Chapters and Youth Program, the campus came together to build the 100th student built house in the world! Habitat for Humanity allows students to put their love into action and build partnerships with people sharing a common goal. Participants gain greater awareness of the need for decent and affordable housing, encouraging a deeper commitment to social action (from Campus Chapters). What's happening? SNC Student Sponsored Build Updates: October 12, 2009: 916 S Maple Ave - Our 50th House! - Sponsored by Ameriprise Financial, Wells Fargo, De Pere Christian Outreach, St. Norbert Student Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and Schneider National Foundation - We are finishing up the garage roof as well as installing windows and doors. On Saturday we'll be working on side prep and air sealing.
