Jamie Opdyke

Jamie Opdyke joined the Residential Education and Housing in July 2013. She is responsible for supervising five resident assistants in Victor McCormick Hall, which houses 225 upperclassmen, and three resident assistants plus an associate hall director in Dale and Ruth Michel’s Hall, a living-learning community for 118 upperclassmen focused on service learning.

Before coming to St. Norbert College, she spent two years volunteering with AmeriCorps, often referred to as the domestic Peace Corps. From 2011-12, she served as coordinator for Service Learning at Columbia College in Columbia, S.C., where she spearheaded a large-scale health program and mentored low-income teenagers through yoga. From 2012-13, she served as VISTA Leader over twenty-two statewide volunteers with Wisconsin Campus Compact, based in Madison. 

Jamie is an avid Green Bay Packers fan and goes to Lambeau Field every chance she gets. She also enjoys long-distance running, working with low-income and diverse populations and philosophical conversations.
