Assistant Professor of Geology — Full Time
Duties:
St. Norbert College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in geology starting August 2010. Teaching responsibilities include physical geology, historical geology, sedimentary geology, and an additional course, preferably in the area of structural geology or paleontology. Additional teaching opportunities include developing courses for the SNC General Studies Program. The successful applicant is expected to participate in and eventually lead local, national, and international field trips, and supervise undergraduate research. In addition, SNC is in the planning process for a significant renovation of its science building, to include greatly expanded geology facilities and a teaching museum.

Experience:
Appropriate field experience is required. Ph.D. in geology is required at the time of hire (August 2010).
