Duties: St. Norbert College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in computer science starting August 2010. Teaching responsibilities include various courses in the core curriculum, database, and information retrieval systems. Additional teaching opportunities include developing courses in emerging technologies for the CS major as well as courses for the SNC General Studies Program. The successful applicant is expected to direct individual student projects, participate in student/faculty collaborations, and supervise undergraduate research.
Experience: We seek candidates committed to excellence in teaching who will actively contribute to the work of the discipline, the College, and the profession. A Ph.D. in computer science or closely related field is required at the time of hire (August 2010).
