Duties:
This position will be either a tenure-track or a tenured position depending on the qualifications of the candidate. The successful candidate will provide vision and leadership for a thriving WAC program, which includes training faculty and supervising a peer-tutor writing center. Teaching duties include two courses per semester (composition and literature courses and, dependent on the candidate's areas of expertise, other courses in English and in the general education program). Collegial duties include normal committee participation and commitment to student advisement. Desire to teach at the undergraduate level is essential. Salary and benefits are competitive.
Experience:
PhD in rhetoric and composition or literature (specialty open) required.
