Vice President of Enrollment Management & Communications — Full Time
Duties:
St. Norbert College, one of the nation's top Catholic liberal arts institutions, invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President of Enrollment Management and Communications. The position is responsible for overseeing and delivering the institution's enrollment goals, by various means -- designing and achieving an integrated enrollment strategy that admits and retains students; optimizing the use of financial aid resources; coordinating the enrollment-related efforts of all divisions; and developing an institution-wide marketing and communications strategy that promotes the distinct identity of St. Norbert College.

St. Norbert College was founded in 1898 by the Norbertine order of Catholic priests and brothers. It has a rich history, robust financial health and genuine momentum. As it has the last six years in a row, this fall's class brought record enrollment -- excellent students lured by rigorous academic programs, an outstanding faculty that specializes in student research opportunities, and a beautiful campus. In the past few years the College has opened a new library, an "all-suite" residence hall, and the Donald J. Schneider stadium and athletic complex. We have also recently renovated and expanded our commons/union complex and opened the Ariens Family Welcome Center, which houses the College's enrollment and communications team. Finally, we have just broken ground on a $40-million state-of-the art science facility, which will also house the Medical College of Wisconsin's regional campus.

St. Norbert draws its distinctive character and energy from being the only institution of higher learning rooted in three traditions: Norbertine, Catholic, and liberal arts. We welcome candidates from all faith traditions who can contribute to the College's mission. The College's next Vice President of Enrollment Management and Communications will use his or her talents to build on those traditions in St. Norbert's continuing quest for excellence.

St. Norbert College is classified as a national liberal arts college by the Carnegie Foundation, and it is nationally ranked by U.S. News and World Report. The Princeton Review has called St. Norbert College one of "The Best in the Midwest." The College is located in De Pere, Wisconsin, a vibrant community of 20,000 situated within metropolitan Green Bay (population 300,000) and within the 18-county "NEW North" region (population 1.2 million). Near the entrance to scenic Door County, the picturesque, tree-lined St. Norbert campus is set on the banks of the Fox River.

The Vice President of Enrollment Management and Communications reports directly to the President, serves on the President's Cabinet, and oversees the Enrollment Management and Communications division, which includes the Admissions, Financial Aid and Communications departments. In addition to the College's enrollment goals, he or she is responsible for all institution-wide marketing and communications, and the Enrollment Management and Communications division works with all campus units on their own communications needs and in ensuring a consistent College identity.

Experience:
Candidates should have an earned Master's degree and at least five years of experience as a senior manager in higher education administration, with a strong emphasis on enrollment management, admissions, marketing and strategic communications.

How To Apply:
Candidates are encouraged to consult the College Web site at http://www.snc.edu. Applications should include a letter explaining the match between the qualities and qualifications of the candidate and the position requirements. Information about how the candidate would support and advances the college's mission (http://www.snc.edu/mission) and how the candidate proposes to help the college improve all aspects of its diversity should also be included in the letter. Please also send a current resume, and the names, addresses, e-mails and phone numbers of four references. Candidates are invited to provide a Statement of Administrative Philosophy if they are so inclined. Nominations of others are welcome, and they should include the name, position, and address of the nominee.

St. Norbert College is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers an outstanding benefits package including health, dental and life insurance, retirement plan, paid time-off and tuition waiver.
