A Visiting Assistant Professor position in Computer Science is available at St. Norbert College for those committed to excellent undergraduate teaching in a liberal arts environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for four courses and their associated labs during the academic year beginning in August 2014. Teaching responsibilities will include courses throughout the undergraduate computer science curriculum. The position includes a competitive salary plus benefits and may be renewable for an additional year.
The successful candidate may have the opportunity to participate in the College's student-faculty collaborative research program. There may also be some limited support for additional professional activities.
Applicants must minimally have a Master's degree in computer science or a closely related field; however, a PhD is preferred. A demonstration of teaching effectiveness will be part of the interview process.
