Performance Management
Overview
St. Norbert College carries out its mission through the individual and collective contributions of its employees. Performance management is an ongoing process of communication between a supervisor and an employee that occurs throughout the year, in support of accomplishing the mission and three core traditions of the College.
The communication process includes clarifying expectations, setting objectives, identifying goals, providing feedback and evaluating results. When effectively carried out, performance management is a process that helps employees know that their contributions are recognized and acknowledged.
This program will provide employees and supervisors with some important tools to effectively participate in the performance management process. Also, a significant amount of time will be set aside to answer questions.
