Sexual Harassment: Awareness and Prevention
Overview
Most of us have heard the term "sexual harassment." But many of us do not know exactly what it means. We also may find ourselves not knowing what to do if someone approaches us with a concern, or acts in a manner that makes us personally uncomfortable. Dealing with sexual harassment allows each of us to more fully respond to the call to respect the sacred dignity of all creation, as reflected in our
Core Traditions.
Objective
This program will provide St. Norbert College community members with some important tools—an understanding what sexual harassment is, how to recognize it, how to prevent it and what to do if you encounter sexual harassment.
Program Outline:
In this program, you will learn:
- the definition of sexual harassment.
- how to identify sexual harassment.
- actions you can take to address sexual harassment.
- the major elements of the College's
Sexual Harassment Policy.
