Activities Outside of the Classroom
St. Norbert College has a large number of student organizations, each striving to add something unique to student life and overall college experience. A number of these organizations emerged as a result of students' aspirations to enhance their educational experience with the global community in mind, and these organizations, whose missions and work closely align with education obtained through International Studies program are listed below.
Global Scholars is the International Studies academic organization that encourages students to pursue further exploration of global issues and immerse themselves in the topics of global governance, global equity, and global identities through interdisciplinary research, collaboration and scholarship.
The cornerstone of the organization is the collaboration of students in their pursuit of truth on the global level. Global Scholars seeks to empower students to become scholars on the global level by working together to study and learn.
Beyond Borders is an organization that challenges students to go beyond their cultural and personal borders by learning, sharing and communicating with people from different backgrounds.
At heart of the organization is engaging people from different backgrounds into organizing activities that bring them together while making St. Norbert College a home for diversity.
College Democrats is a student organization that serves as a chapter of College Democrats of America.
"We believe in the Democratic Party because time and time again, Democrats have fought for students and the progressive causes we care about. It was the Democratic Party that stood up for students when it came to financial aid. From President Franklin Roosevelt’s G.I. Bill to Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s College Cost and Reduction Act, Democrats have opened the doors of opportunity for millions of Americans to go to college ... "
 The mission of the St. Norbert College Republicans is to help advance the Republican cause through education, activism and involved support on the St. Norbert College campus and in the greater Green Bay community.
It is the hope and the desire of the St. Norbert College Republican's to help and improve the quality of student involvement in the Wisconsin State College Republicans, and increase the impact of Republican activism in the state of Wisconsin.
Discoveries International Inc. is a non-profit organization run by international business students dedicated to importing products primarily from developing countries. Proceeds earned from the re-sale of these goods are reinvested in developing nations through charitable donations.

Recently chartered, the French Club promotes and increases awareness of French and francophone cultures on campus through a variety of activities.
Japan Club is the oldest foreign language club at St. Norbert College, and was established more than a decade ago to provide educational programs to students, as well as to the outside community at large. Japan Club is a student-led organization with a president, vice-president, treasurer and public relations director.
Phi Beta Delta International Honor Society honors those who serve internationalism - the idea of a world connected, of respect for different traditions, of the need for education to enhance knowledge of the many cultures that are part of a globe that we all must share.

Pi Gamma Mu is an international social science honor’s society and is open to those studying in the following fields: economics, history, political science, sociology, anthropology, the human services, and international studies. The chapter at St. Norbert College was founded in 1963 by the late Rev. Dr. Robert Cornell, O.Praem, a faculty member and former United States senator.
Rainbow Alliance focuses on education and advocacy in support of LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning) individuals and issues at St. Norbert College, as well as in the local and larger communities. All students are welcome and encouraged to participate in Rainbow Alliance, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity and expression.
Spanish Club brings a variety of events to the St. Norbert campus that celebrate the Spanish language and the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Such events include campus speakers, dances and films.
Spanish Club also plays an integral part in the planning and organization of St. Norbert College’s annual Fiesta Hispanica, a celebration of Hispanic culture and people in Brown County and throughout Wisconsin and the United States.
