Men's Room
Located in the Pennings Activity Center (PAC) room 26, it all starts here.
Journey-Men (J-Men) may be the nation’s only men’s group on a college campus to build their own place: the Journey-Men’s Room, or simply the Men’s Room since it is intended to be a positive focal point of activity for all men on campus. It is a place that fosters brotherhood while providing activities and programs of special interest to campus men.
But the use of the Men’s Room extends beyond this for it is a multi-use space for the whole St. Norbert College community:
- As a weekend place for all students, the
Knight Owl serves hot/cold drinks and food in a relaxing atmosphere, which includes pool and foosball tables as well as a lounge area.
- As a weeknight place, the Knight Owl is a place to study.
- Student groups also use the room for a variety of functions including, but not limited to, fundraising through staffing the Knight Owl and keeping the profits.
- Campus departments utilize the space as well for meetings or special events.
Room reservations
Yes, you can book the Men’s Room for your special event! All student groups and campus departments can use the room. Non-student groups are asked to make a small donation to J-Men or buy product from the Knight Owl for their event. For more information, e-mail

Construction
The Men’s Room was built by Journey-Men with the help of many other campus men (and one woman) between October 2003 and February 2005.
Volunteers worked nearly 1,700 hours converting an old high school cafeteria into an attractive new space.
