Let us help give your child a view of the world. Kids can explore the world this Spring right here in De Pere.

February 4- April 28!
Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. - Noon
St. Norbert College campus 

St. Norbert College is offering Passports to the World!, a language and culture program especially for children ages 5-11.

The winter educational program consists of ten 3-hour lessons taught by St. Norbert College students, each covering a different world culture or group of cultures.

The cost for the entire session is $135, which includes t-shirt, instruction, materials, and a completion certificate.

Passports to the World! will use language curriculum with cultural activities that explore several areas of the world. Topics include:

•  Russian Traditions Feb. 4 & Feb. 11
• Spanish & Sports Feb. 18 & Feb. 25
• French Conversations Around the World March 3 & March 24
• German Castles & Green Knights March 31 & April 14
• Finnish Culture April 21 & April 28

Class size limited to 10 students.

Too busy to take all 10 weeks? Choose one topic (2 Saturdays) and pay just $30.

The Pre-Collegiate Children's Language Institute teaches language classes in Spanish and French to first through sixth graders during the school year.

Classes are held at several area elementary schools (see below). The instructors are St. Norbert College students majoring in Spanish,  French and/or education.

The program is based on a nationally recognized elementary language curriculum. Although our program is well grounded in educational methodology, the children who participate only realize how engaging it is to work with young, energetic, St. Norbert College students; creating art projects, singing songs, playing games and generally having fun!

There are no tests, quizzes or mandatory homework assignments.

The PCLI has served more than 2200 students since the program began 11 years ago. Our language enrichment program is currently offered at the following elementary schools:

• Aldo Leopold School
• Beaumont Elementary
• Langlade Elementary
• King Elementary
• Martin Elementary
• McAuliffe Elementary
• Webster Elementary
• Wrightstown Elementary
