Holiday Traditions Around the World
Holiday Traditions Around the World will inspire new ideas for those holiday tables. Participants will learn to prepare several side dishes, a cranberry chutney to compliment all foods, kale waldorf salad with an oil free dressing, lots of roots dishes and appetizers, along with learning tips for a successful holiday party. The instructor, Susan Beno, will focus on Germany, France, Italy and England. (Menu items subject to change depending on the market availability and prices.)
Beno brings years of cooking expertise to the table. She instructs cooking and nutrition classes at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, Cook's Corner, and the Farm Market Kitchen. For several years, Beno owned and operated her own restaurant, Cafe Susan, in Bellevue, Wis. She serves on the board of directors of the Farm Market Kitchen in Algoma, Wis., and teaches Zumba classes at the Green Bay and De Pere YWCAs.
