Learn how to sign the alphabet, basic words, and phrases in American sign language!

American Sign Language is one of the most widely used languages in the United States and Canada. This workshop offers a sneak peek into deaf culture and sign language. Through interactive and “hands on” activities you will gain a better understanding of what it is like to be deaf in America.  

About the Instructor
Ann Blainski is a certified American sign language teacher. She has degrees in sign language interpreting, teaching American sign language, special education and elementary education. She earned a Master’s degree in the art of education from Marian University. Ann has been interpreting for the deaf community for more than twenty years. She has worked for the Green Bay Public School District in a variety of positions since 1992. She currently teaches American sign language at Southwest High School.
