Request a consultation with a librarian
Reference librarians give individual and small group consultations to students, faculty, administration and staff members, in which you may discuss your research and information needs. Reference librarians will provide you with guidance on appropriate library research tools including both print and electronic sources. Research consultations may also include one-on-one training on using electronic library databases. If you have not yet begun your research, please consult a librarian at the information desk for immediate assistance in getting started. For in-depth assistance and for help with specific research problems, please request a research consultation.
How to make a request
You may request a consultation in person, by phone or online using the form below. Upon receiving your request, a reference librarian will attempt to contact you within 24 hours (excluding weekends) in order to set up a mutually convenient day and time for your research consultation. We are available Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will try to accommodate requests at other times.
