Collection development

To support collection development, each academic discipline appoints a library liaison to work with a corresponding librarian liaison. Each discipline is allocated an annual expenditure fund for the purchase of books. View a list of the current liaisons.

Faculty may order books using the book order form (Word format). Submit your completed forms as email attachments to acquisitions@snc.edu. Faculty may also make suggestions outside of their discipline by completing the collection suggestion form.

Book reviews are found in CHOICE. New reviews are added monthly.

A bestseller collection can be found on the first floor of the library next to the computers for pleasure reading of biography, fiction and popular interest topics. These items circulate for 4 weeks.
