Customized Instructional Sessions

Would your class or group profit from a hands-on library workshop that is tailored specifically to meet your needs?

How We Help
The library customizes interactive workshops to help students acquire the skills necessary to conduct strong independent research.

Sessions range from brief (5 to 10 minute) introductions to basic services and resources to lengthier (45 to 75 minute) workshops on specific research concepts, methodologies and applications.

Most full-length workshops rely heavily on the principles of active, engaged learning. Students should attend sessions prepared to share their ideas about conducting research and ready to work collaboratively through challenges and concepts.
