How do I print from microfilm?
Microform digitizer
- Step 1: Turn on power strip. Everything should turn on at the same time, if not, make sure the printer and digitizer are turned on before the computer or they won’t connect.
- Step 2: Load film or fiche into digitizer.
- Step 3: Log into computer.

- Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to get the login box.
- Enter your login (in the full string) and password in the boxes provided and press enter.
- In the next box, delete your login and enter library into that box and also into the lower box and press enter.
- You should now be logged into the PC.
- Step 4: After your image is positioned as you want it:

- Go to file, acquire image
- Set options as desired
- Click SCAN
- Step 5: Use the toolbar to set various options (magnify, crop, erase, etc.) and then go to file, print.
- Step 6: To e-mail the file, go to file, save as and name the document something you will remember. Minimize the window and open
WebMail to send the file as an attachment.
