We've compiled some useful information for you, including a how-to guide that shows you how to checkout materials and use the library's equipment like photocopiers and microfilm. Databases

Use these databases to find information on your topics. Below are a few of our newspaper, magazine and journal databases, in which you can find citations, abstracts and full text documents on your topics. For help with the databases, ask a librarian.

EBSCOhost Academic Search Elite Provides full text for over 1,250 journals covering the social sciences, humanities, general science, multicultural studies, education and much more.

EBSCOhost Business Source Elite Provides full text for over 960 journals covering business, management, economics, finance, banking, accounting and more.

InfoTRAC Literature Resource Center (LRC) Find up-to-date biographical information, overviews, full-text literary criticism and reviews on nearly 130,000 writers in all disciplines, from all time periods and from around the world. The optional MLA International Bibliography module adds citations for hundreds of thousands of books, articles and dissertations.

InfoTRAC OneFile A source for news and periodical articles on a wide range of topics: physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and more. Includes full-text coverage of the New York Times back to 1995.

Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe provides access to nearly 5,000 publications on a wide range of news, business, legal and reference information.

ProQuest Criminal Justice Periodicals Indexes over 150 trade and scholarly journals in criminal justice and related fields. This index covers U.S., British and Canadian journals.

ProQuest Education Journals Contains more than 550 titles on education with nearly 300 in full text.

ProQuest Ethnic NewsWatch Full-text collection of the newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority and native press. The database is searchable in both English and Spanish, with publications in each language and more than 125,000 articles in Spanish.

ProQuest Historical New York Times Full-text and full-image articles from the New York Times dating back to the 19th century. More recent articles can be found in ProQuest Newspapers.

ProQuest Newspapers Indexing, abstracting and full text of over 300 state, national and international newspapers. Includes full-text coverage of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Madison Capital Times.
