The Emerging Leaders program gets new students involved in leadership positions on campus and helps them acquire the skills to successfully hold leadership positions. The program provides an opportunity for relationship and resource building while gaining an understanding of leadership theory.
The program begins with a retreat in the first few weeks of school, followed by a series of
developmental workshops. The Emerging Leaders meet once a month in small groups to discuss programs and new leadership topics.
Attendance at three leadership series workshops
and a community service project is required to complete the program. Emerging Leaders gives students a jump start on making the best of their co-curricular opportunities during their collegiate experience.
The program ends with a campus service project to put new skills to the test and an apprenticeship program focused on a specific interest!
