President Talks to President: A Conversation With Mark Murphy of the Green Bay Packers

Mark Murphy (Green Bay Packers) and Tom Kunkel (St. Norbert College) between them preside over two great Wisconsin institutions.

When Kunkel interviewed Murphy at the beginning of this year’s Sport & Society conference about the former NFL player’s career – a career that took Murphy from the football stadium through law school and business school, on to the courtroom and college athletics, then back once more to the stadium – we were glad to be able to listen in.

The “Presidents’ Perspective” conversation was offered as part of the fourth in a series of Sport & Society in America conferences hosted by St. Norbert College and the Green Bay Packers.

This year, the conference focused on “The Business of College Sports.” A glance at the program alone is enough to reveal the breadth and depth of the three-day conversation on this topic.
