Internships
Some students participate in summer internships, and some of these internships continue during the school year.

Research
Besides giving talks at conferences, some students have been able to obtain summer research positions. Some of the upper level mathematics courses require students to submit articles for publication in the
St. Norbert College Journal of Undergraduate Mathematics. Dr. Frohliger is the editor.
Math competitions
Some students enter mathematics competitions such as the Putnam Exam and modeling contests. St. Norbert teams have finished in the top 10 every year since 2004, and placed fifth in 2006.
