White Ribbon Campaign Each April, as a part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Men's Initiative hosts the White Ribbon Campaign which challenges men to "never commit, condone, or remain silent about men's violence against women."

affirmative consent and the benefits of being educated about sexual

about how race and gender are constructed in Hip-Hop. • Men and Service A gathering for men to discuss service and their
experiences in the T.R.I.P.S. program. • Race, Gender & Music Video A film screening of Sut Jhally's
"Dreamworlds 3" and discussion facilitated by sociologist Dr. Cheryl
Carpenter about how race and gender are constructed in music videos. • The 3rd Annual Men's Health Day A free dinner and
panel of men speaking about their fight with cancer. Come learn about
healthy lifestyle tips and how to help the fight against cancer. • Slice of Life "The Journey of Men: Reflections on the
Needs of
College Men." A panel discussion about the issues facing male
college students and navigating dominant constructions of masculinity. • What Men Can Do to Prevent Sexual Assault An interactive
male-positive look at how men can help prevent sexual assault.
